Now, allow me to tell you I'm not computer savvy at all. I remember how it all started in 2010, I didn't even know what a URL was! This time around I did my banner on Photoshop, added custom media icons, a favicon (that you may not see yet, but trust me, it'll be there when Blogger gets its s**t together), and opened a contact page. Hey, it may seem like much ado about nothing for some, but I could design electronic circles around the old me, and that's reason enough to make me happy.
The new look is as far as I can go without extensively tweaking the HTLM code--which I'm considering taking classes, by the way. So please, let me know what you think about it. Do you love it or hate it? Do you wish I went back to the previous look? Any suggestion, tip, or commentary is welcome, as always.
I'm also considering writing a tutorial on how to design your own banner, designing your blog (with the aforementioned limitations), and adding custom media icons to your site. If it is something you might be interested on, please let me know and I'll be happy to put that up first.

Very nice - and I did like the old look, but this is easier to access and looks more organised.
Thanks Rebecca. Others had advised me before about removing my clutter and organizing my stuff. I guess I just needed to grown out of that phase. =)

I dig the banner, new title, and font. That's a lovely picture of you, too, but I'm not sure about the purple top... I like purple, don't get me wrong, and again, you're looking lovely, but I feel it doesn't fit the rest of the blog's look.
I also like the black brick wall, but the far sides seem a little too bare, for me. Maybe widen the middle column?
Just some suggestions - take 'em or leave 'em! :-)

Thanks for your input, Mina! It does mean a lot for me. Changing the purple in the picture could be a very laborious work unless I change the whole picture to black and white. Now, I think there's already too much dark in here... so maybe I can think of a less tedious way to tweak the color... I'm already developing plan B. =)
About widening the central color, that would be a great idea! I did try, just after I read your comments, but I need to go into the HTLM code, know just where to touch it, and have an idea of the wide that would work. Not my forte. Thank God, there's a how to guide on the internet about everything, so I'll look for one.
